Daniel Naprous
Daniel, Gerard's son,
possesses without doubt that same natural affinity with horses. In
the tradition of all great horsemen, Daniel first sat on a horse before
he could even walk. He made the decision to follow his father's profession
in Show Business at a very early age, working alongside Gerard in
the Live Shows from the age of 8.
By the time he reached
his teens he was acknowledged as one of the best Trick Riders in Europe.
It is this skill on horseback, coupled with his dashing good looks,
that has secured him many Film and T.V. roles, including the part
of Amant in "First Knight" working alongside Richard Gere and Sean
Connery. He also took the part of St.George in "Beasts and Monsters", the Young Lord in "The
Odyssey" and displaying a lot of fancy footwork with his father's
Black Stallion when doubling for Lancelot in "Merlin". Despite his
youth, he is recognised by other professionals in the Film industry
for his talent and dedication to perfection. He also takes leading
parts in the Live Shows - Temujin in the Cossack Riding, Heracles
in the Chariot Racing and Prince Hal in the Joust.
Having worked long
and hard under his father's watchful eye, Daniel has concentrated
improving his skills. He is also an accomplished Fire Eater, Juggler
and Unicyclist and to qualify for membership to the prestigious register
of Stunt Performers has achieved top qualifications in Swordsmanship,
Martial Arts, Trampoline and Sub Aqua Diving.
Life in Show Business
is not easy, but Daniel would be the first to admit that being a leading
performer with The Devil's Horsemen is downright tough!
